Shirley, 67

For 67-year-old Shirley, seven months of pain felt like an unrelenting rollercoaster. The sharp, electric shock-like pain in her lower back and hip left her struggling to function. “Christmas morning of 2023, I couldn’t get out of bed. It was the most painful experience of my life,” she recalled.
